Norwegian club Lillestrøm has loaned Nigerian forward Kparobo Arierhi to Sogndal, offering the 19-year-old another opportunity to secure regular playing time, Naija Footy reports.
This move aids Arierhi’s development after he made his way into Lillestrøm’s first team following his transition from Beyond Limits FC.
Currently valued at €500,000 by Transfermarkt, Arierhi’s profile as a Nigerian youth international is on the rise. He joined Lillestrøm in 2025 and remains under contract with them, with this temporary transfer to Sogndal aimed at providing him with valuable competitive experience.
Before the loan, Arierhi had made 10 appearances for Lillestrøm in the Eliteserien during 2026, netting one goal, as per league records. His growth also included a previous loan to Mjøndalen, where he played 14 times in Norway’s second tier and scored four goals in 2025.
Arierhi’s senior career started with Beyond Limits FC, where he scored three goals in three matches in the Nigerian NNL during the 2023/24 season. His progress earned him recognition with Nigeria’s Under-20 team, scoring once in six appearances at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Sogndal is hopeful that Arierhi will apply his speed, movement, and finishing skills to deliver consistent performances in his latest Norwegian stint. For Lillestrøm, the loan offers a chance for the €500,000-rated forward to gain more first-team experience and return as a seasoned attacker, while Sogndal benefits from gaining a promising Nigerian player who can strengthen their forward options.
