Nigerian attacking midfielder Adewale Adebayo Lasisi has completed a move to Spanish side Atlético Teresiano, opening a new chapter in his career after his spell in Albanian football. The 23-year-old, popularly known as “Waley,” joins the Spanish regional division club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Lasisi arrives from Albanian club KF Turbina, where he had been registered since July 2025. The Lagos-born midfielder is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also operate on the left side of midfield. He stands at 1.58m and is right-footed.
His senior career in Nigeria includes spells with Dakkada FC and Niger Tornadoes. Available career records show 24 NPFL appearances and two goals across the 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, including 17 appearances and one goal for Dakkada in 2021/22, six appearances and one goal in 2022/23, and one appearance for Niger Tornadoes in 2023/24.
Lasisi does not currently have a monetary market value listed. His previous move from Dakkada FC to Niger Tornadoes in September 2023 was also recorded without a disclosed transfer fee.
The financial details and length of Lasisi’s agreement with Atlético Teresiano have not been publicly disclosed.
The move nevertheless represents an important opportunity for the Nigerian midfielder to establish himself in Spain after his experiences with Dakkada FC, Niger Tornadoes and KF Turbina, with attention now turning to his first season with the Spanish club.
