The 2026/27 Turkish Süper Lig season will feature a strong Nigerian presence, with 12 players listed across 10 clubs, Naija Footy reports.
Leading the contingent is Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen, while experienced Super Eagles stars Wilfred Ndidi and Paul Onuachu are also set to feature. The latest Transfermarkt-based listing confirms Nigeria’s growing influence in the Turkish top flight.
Osimhen remains the biggest name among the Nigerian contingent. The Galatasaray striker is currently valued at €75m, making him one of the most valuable players in the league.
He will be joined by Beşiktaş midfielder Ndidi, Trabzonspor striker Onuachu and fellow Trabzonspor defender Chibuike Nwaiwu. Onuachu also enters the campaign after finishing last season as the league’s leading scorer with 22 goals.

Victor Osimhen remains the biggest Nigerian name in the Turkish Super Lig. The Galatasaray striker is also the most valuable player among the Nigerian contingent, with a €75m Transfermarkt valuation.
