Osimhen Suffers Fresh Market Value Blow

Victor Osimhen has suffered another significant drop in his Transfermarkt market value, with the Super Eagles striker falling from €75 million to €65 million in the latest valuation of Turkish Süper Lig players. The €10 million reduction leaves the Galatasaray forward at his lowest market value since June 2022.

The latest update comes despite Osimhen making an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign. The 27-year-old has scored six goals and provided two assists in four league appearances for Galatasaray, before an injury interrupted his season and kept him out of Nigeria’s September AFCON qualifiers.

Transfermarkt’s latest assessment also reflects the wider changes in the Turkish market following a summer that brought several major names to the league, including Rafael Leão, Dušan Vlahović and Mohamed Salah. Despite the reduction, Osimhen remains the most valuable player in the Süper Lig, ahead of Leão (€50m), Vlahović (€35m) and Salah (€22m).

Osimhen’s valuation has undergone significant changes since he joined Galatasaray on loan in September 2024. He arrived with a €100m valuation before dropping to €75m following his move away from one of Europe’s top-five leagues. His value later reached €70m before returning to €75m after Galatasaray completed his permanent €75m transfer from Napoli in July 2025.

The latest figure is €55m below Osimhen’s career-high valuation of €120m, reached during his Napoli spell. Despite the decline, his strong goalscoring start in Turkey leaves room for another change in valuation should he return from injury and maintain his form for Galatasaray.
