The Turkish Super Lig club Göztepe remains firm on their demands for Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis despite increasing interest from clubs across Europe, Naija Footy reports.
At 22, Dennis has become one of the most sought-after Nigerian players in the current transfer window, following another strong season in Turkey. Göztepe is committed to maximizing any potential sale.
Under contract until June 2027, Dennis, valued at €5 million according to Transfermarkt, places Göztepe in a favorable negotiating position. They are reportedly asking for around €8 million for a transfer, with interest coming from Belgium, Germany, England, and Turkey.
Dennis had an outstanding 2025/26 season, playing in 33 Turkish Super Lig matches and contributing three goals and three assists. His dynamic midfield performances, strong ball-winning skills, and composure have made him one of Göztepe’s key players and bolstered his reputation across Europe.
Since joining Göztepe’s first team from HB Academy Abuja, Dennis has made 68 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and aiding the club in their promotion to the top flight before firmly establishing himself in the starting lineup.
